Freeze your pesto

Pesto is great, but is high in calories. When portion sizes get reduced as you begin your spiffy new lifestyle not much pesto is needed, so one can enjoy it occasionally.
I found myself with a huge jar of pesto in the fridge with an expiry date looming soon.
I measured out the pesto by the tablespoon into my ice cube trays and froze it! It takes a while for it to solidify, but when it does you can pry them out, wrap each one in a small piece of foil and pop them back in the freezer!

Burn More Calories with Small Changes

Need to burn more calories but don't have the extra time to workout? You can do it without increasing your time in the gym. Just make your workout more challenging!

Using a treadmill? Increase the incline by 1% per workout and see if that doesn't burn a few more calories for you!

Are you waking but don't feel challenged? Break into a jog for 30 seconds and then walk. As soon as you feel you can do it again, GO FOR IT! Next time you walk increase your running to 1 minute.
