Sprinkle a little Cinnamon on it!

When enjoying a meal of cereal (hot or cold), dessert or even nuts consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. This fragrant spice has been shown to help stablize blood sugar (it works for me), as well as making food taste great!

Honor Your Body - Don't let the scale rule your life

Keep your reason for being on SP in focus. Are you here to become healthier or skinnier? Contrary to popular belief not everything skinny is healthy.
When your goal is to become healthier you become invested in providing health for both your body and mind. You take pride in the things you are training your body to do and your mind to understand, both will become stronger.
Honor your body and the good things you are providing. Become your body's best friend. The scale won't rule your life.

Invest in some kids cones - they are TINY only about 5 calories per cone. You can only fit about 1 -2 tbls of ice cream, which is about 1/4 of a normal serving. You can have two of these "cones" be completely satisfied and have had under 200 calories! Depending on your ice cream - under 100!

Cut your juice calories in half

I like to have a cup of 100% juice once per day, but the calories and sugar for a cup can be quite steep. I've learned to pour 4ozs of juice and dilute it with 4ozs of water. That way I still have a "cup" of juice, but with only half of the sugar and calories!
