I bring my scales to my trips
I have two digital kitchen scales (Soehnle brand), a small, and a bigger one. I also have a bathroom scale to measure my weight. When I go on a trip, I bring them with me, and I continue scaling as I do at home.
Exercising every day is easier
I do exercise every day. It is much easier, then to exercise only every other day, or 2-3x per week. It's just part of every day of my life. So it happens always.
I track on endomondo.com my running workouts.
It can be downloaded to almost any type of phone, and track the GPS signal. Shows the speed (min/km), calories, time, distance. Uploads automatically. Then I can review my track on the maps at endomondo.com, and copy back to sparkpeople's fitness tracker.
I didn't realize at the beginning, but it is such a motivation to see the list of exercises with maps.
Also, I explore new roads, as it tracks the distance, I know when I reach 3km.
Eat 20-60 min after workout, a blend of carbohydrates and protein
I always wondered if I should eat or not after a workout. As I'm not hungry after jogging, I thought it is good not to eat, also to help my weight loss. Actually this is not the case.
Best is to provide the energy for the muscles, 20-60 mins after exercice.
I go for the recommended blend of carbohydrates and protien, like chicken with brown rice, yogurt with almonds, or a protein shake with a banana.

Washing teeth = Less hunger
I wash my teeth after each meal. I also use floss and mouth wash.
This way there is a clear closure to the meal - finished. And somehow as the tastes go away from my mouth, there is less urge to get more snacks.
I also bought an nice Oral-B Pulsonic Slim electronic toothbrush, as an award and motivation.
Pin as tab the Nutrition tracker page (Firefox 4)
I used "Pin as tab" in Firefox 4 to fix my daily nutrition tracker page.
This way, my nutrition tracker is always there one click away when Firefox opens up. It is less time to add food, and I am more likely to track. ("Pin as tab" is also useful for gmail and facebook.)
