I love tuna salad, but I don't like the fat free mayo, so I tried mustard instead. It was delicious! It helps me eat healthier and keep my fat under my target.
Instead of buying envelopes, I use the ones that I get in junk mail and bills (I pay online, so I don't need the envelopes). I put the address labels I get from companies who want me to buy stuff or donate money over the return address. If there's a clear window or address printed in the "mail to" area of the envelope, I cover it with a piece of paper taped or glued in place and put the correct address on it.
I hate to throw the little bit of lotion or shampoo left in the bottle away, so when I can't get it out through the top, I take a pair of scissors (sometimes need to be heavy duty) and carefully poke a hole in the bottle, then cut the bottle into two pieces. I take a small rubber spatula and scrape out the remainder and put it into a small container with a seal, like a Tupperware smidget. That keeps the lotion from getting dried out or rubbery.
When I make muffins, cakes, or brownies, I substitute skim milk for the milk, applesauce for the oil, and egg beaters for the eggs. If it calls for 1/2 c. of oil, use 1/2 c. of applesauce. Egg beater conversion is 1 egg equals 1/4 c. egg beaters. This really cuts down on the fat and it doesn't take away from the taste.
To keep with my healthy program, I had to concede that this was a lifestyle change I've had to put away the four letter word, diet. It's not a diet-it's permanent. It's about me making good choices so that I'll live a healthier life and hopefully be around to see my grandchildren grow up. Part I: watch what I eat; stop eating junk! Part II: Exercise at least 5 days a week. Part III: If I have a setback, don't sweat it; get up dust off my pants and get back on the horse!
You can hang one in your car to get a nice fresh odor in your car, you can rub it on your clothes to get rid of static cling, you can store it in your drawers to freshen your clothes, wipe your tv and computer screens with one to clean off the dust.
