I enter ingredients measured in grams. After the meal is done, I figure out how many servings it makes and weigh one portion in grams. I then change the title to include the amount of grams in one serving. I can freeze in larger portions and don't have to remember serving size.
I keep a bowl of safety pins in the area where I take my socks off. I pin the two socks together and drop them in a net bag on the cloths hamper. One bag is for dark and one is for light. After the laundry is done, I fold them over with the pin and put them in the drawer. All matching is done.
