Focus on your cheek muscles - just above the jaw. Now contract them so that they pull back and upward toward the ears. Contract hard enough so that your lips part slightly and your teeth show. Outstanding. Keep that up.
That's what I ask the waiter when ordering a salad. And then I just dip my fork into the little cup with the dressing before I pick up the salad from my plate. A very effective way of avoiding unwelcome calories. And, by the way, less dressing makes the salad taste better, anyway ! Enjoy
When it comes to water consumption I now alternate between the two. In particular in the evenings when I have cravings for a snack I pour me a glass of sparkling water instead. The sensation of the bubbles is helping me overcome the craving for "bad calories". Try it out !
that having a snack is often not about eating, but rather about the sensations of tasting something truly delightful without the hassle of preparing it. That's why I have blueberries or blackberries for a snack. Delicious !!!
If you look at the mirror your eye might wander to the parts of your body you particularly like or dislike - if, instead, you take a picture of it you'll get a much more objective "status report". Looking at the picture I now see me through the eyes of others and this motivates me much more to further improve. Try it out !
I keep a bottle of cola in my fridge. Whenever I open the fridge it stares at me and I stare back, thinking "No way". With this little initial success I usually feel motivated to make a healthy choice when having a snack
