If you can't pronounce it (in the ingredience list) DON'T EAT IT. The closer it is to its natural state the better it is for you. Try to purchase only things with 3-5 ingredients that you can pronounce.
I learned this trick just last week and its a twofold trick. Before you put anything in your body in the morning drink 2 cups of water. It wakes up your bowels and will get you your water started earlier
When I am pressed for time due to kids activities, appointments and/or holidays, I bulk cook our supper's main dishes for a week or two at a time. Then I am able to put it in the crockpot or pull it out of the freezer and have it thawed by the time I get home.
