Nothing keeps me on track, positive and motivated like having someone to be accountable to! Whether it's a group here on SP, a challenge team, or a fitness buddy from work or church, (or all of the above) doesn't matter. But it's got to be somebody who is facing a similar challenge and who's commit...

"Be willing to change".

I know that this was especially hard for me because I thought that I was doing everything that I needed to do to lose weight. I often hear about 'calories in and calories out' but that is only the mechanics of dieting. It ...

Pause to give thanks

Before I choose to take a bite, my goal is to pause and give thanks to God for my food. That usually gives my brain time to think about whether the food I am about to eat is in alignment with my weight loss goals.

Easy calorie tracking using a 100 calorie *FAVORITE* favorite.

My *FAVORITE* favorite is named simply "100." Its a 100 calorie favorite I use when tracking food gets too complex or I don't have the time. For example, tonight we had spaghetti. I seriously don't have the time to track 1/4 cup fresh tomatos, 1/4 cup fresh onion, 1tbsp garlic....you get the idea. S...

Take the Stairs--Not Just for Climbing

Do a whole body mini workout on the stairs. Do one set (15-20 reps) of:
