Eat What You Want Day

On Weigh-In Days if I have been successful I reward myself by allowing the next day to be an eat what you want day. I don't track anything and I use this day to eat anything I may have been craving or depriving myself of. I find I don't actually overeat when I do this. I am always so proud of the good weigh-in that I don't want to spoil it and while I may not stay in my calorie range I don't blow it through the roof either. I find this helpful to just have a splurge day!

identify landmarks during your run/walk routine

well i am doing really well with my run/walk routine a good way to keep up with yourself is to set goals or rather identify a landmark along the way for example i always tell myself you can't stop jogging until you reach that bench or that post or if i do stop i always set a mental goal like hey your gonna start running when you get to that bench. I also always set goals to pass the person in front of me so it makes me move faster!!! I am so proud of me i'll be running non-stop in no time! emoticon

Ask Yourself....and Wait

Doughnut or healthy cereal? Ask yourself and wait for the answer before choosing. Today, I chose cereal because I really want to see a lower number on the scale this week. Then I waited for that inner voice. When the inner voice agrees, the choice is a lot easier and happier!

Track what you eat

If you're too lazy to write it down, you should be too lazy to eat it too!

Walk Rather than Drive

I always thought I would walk more if I lived in Paris which would help with weight loss. I decided to "move to Paris" by walking everywhere nearby. CVS is 1.2 miles, roundtrip it is 2.4 miles. I have children so I take my jog stroller. Or if I need to take the kids to church on Wednesday I run/walk which is 2.3 miles away.

Have the courage to try something new. Making exercise apart of your lifestyle is the best way to lose weight and win BIG! emoticon

if the weather is horrid outside and i don't need to go outside, i walk up and down the stairs for a few minutes during the day. then repeat the process 4 or 5 times before relaxing.

Weight Loss Should ONLY Be Done on YOUR Terms!

If you truly HATE a workout after a month, ditch it and find something new. If you hate eating a healthy food, find something better. Don't force yourself to do something that aggravates you for the sake of weight loss! Do your research and I promise that you will find an effective eating and exercise plan that you LOVE! Remember that this is a LIFESTYLE. If you don't see yourself eating this or exercising like that for the rest of your life, it's probably not worth it. You deserve better!!!
