If I get off track, I do not berate myself. As soon as I can, I get back on track. Broken ankle - gained weight, choice is to give up - NO! Start again. Losing family members to cancer...do not give in....keep going....give myself as much grace as I would give a friend ..start again. I am not a quitter
I have a big glass of water least 16 oz. in every room living room ,kitchen , bedroom so I have no excuse to not drink it .When I leave the house no meter where I go I have a reusable 32 oz. sport bottle with me .At the end of the day is adding up to about 1 gallon in a half.
As you go through the day and think of things you want to do later, or tomorrow, stop and do something that is part of the task so it is done and you don't have to remember it. Example: You need to take something to work tomorrow. Put it by your car keys so it is close when you pick up your keys tomorrow morning. Or you need to call someone tomorrow. Put their name and phone number on a piece of paper and put that near your keys.
Dink at least a cup of water before your meals, or maybe only before your snacks or main meals!! It helps you feel fuller and digest the food you do consume!! Water is natural and natural based anything can not hurt you! Don't be afraid to eat veggies, fruits, drinking water. Natural, natural, natural!!!!
Remind yourself that your health is more important than your job, your bills, your obligations to please other people, and almost everything else in your life. If you don't take care of your health, who will? If not now, when?
