Earn It Guilt Free

Is there something you really want but can't seem to justify spending the money on it? Earn it by accomplishing goals.
If you really want those new $100+ shoes or $300 piece of equipment make a deal with yourself that if you lose 15 pounds or have a spark streak for 100 days that you'll get it.

Curbing Snack Attacks During TV Time

My husband and I have an at home movie date night once a week. Even after getting rid of unhealthy food I was having a heck of a time with stuffing my face.
Now I chew gum and/or have a home made popcycle made from 100% fruit juice.

Sugar Cravings

I've discovered that my sweet tooth is cured by eating a small handfull of craisins (dried cranberries). Much better for me than sweets.

I love cooking and eating Italian food. When I do so at home I use the smaller plate for the pasta and the big plate for salad.

Boost yoour fruit & Veggie servings

To boost my fruit and vegetable servings I 'double up' during meals. If a half cup of peas is a serving, I'll take a whole cup. I also make my meats & pastas the smaller 'sides' to the dish. You have a much healthier and balanced meal that way.

Control Snacking with Dental Hygiene

One of my nonfitness goals is to floss. I found that this also helps to curb my snacking. I'm less likely to eat out of boredom and think about what and when I'm eating when my teeth are clean. It may seem a little weird but I'll take it!
