Spotless windows

To get perfectly spotless windows and mirrors, without chemicals, use a solution of water and regular vinegar. (About 1/2 cup vinegar to 2 cups water), spray and wipe. This solution will not streak at all. It is the best and cheapest way to clean glass. You can increase the amount of vinegar for very dirty glass.

Non waste tomato paste

To prevent mould forming on top of your tomato paste, pour a thin film of oil over the surface of the paste to stop the air reaching the surface.
Alternatively, freeze paste in level-tablespoon portions in ice-cube trays.
When the paste is frozen, transfer to a bag and seal tightly.

Getting rid of fruit flies around the house

This is without harmful chemicals. You will need a spray bottle with an adjustable spray head. Fill the bottle with rubbing alcohol and adjust spray head so that it sprays a fine mist. When you spray fruit flies, the rubbing alcohol will not kill them but it will knock them out so that they fall onto the floor where you simply sweep them up.
Doesn't work as good as insecticide, but then again, you won't be poisoning your family and yourself either! emoticon
