Sing yourself slim

A group brainstorm to help a friend avoid snacking in the evenings came up with the suggestion that instead of filling her mouth she sang. She says she doesn't often break into song, but she thinks about the suggestion and a) it makes her smile and b) it stops her reaching for the cookie jar

Fullbar (Cranberry/Almo
nd)

I love, love this bar! They are on sale at Walgreens this week so I picked up a box. It is very filling for 150 calories and 5 grams of protein. It does have 30 grams of carbs, but I was way under my carb budget anyway. I'm going back to buy more!

Just One Thing...

Choose just one thing to start with, write a food journal or start drinking water or counting your steps per day. Get good at it. Build from there. It helps me stay positive when I can do something well and get better at it all the time

Freeze your meals - Thaw out your time!

Panning your meals in advance is a success, and this tip will help you one step further. I like to buy the family packs of meat and the separate them into meal appropriate portions. It's extremely economical. Before freezing, season your meat with whatever seasonings and/or marinade. As the meat thaws out they will marinate as well and you can have so many meals prepared in advance this way. It also saves you time because you are doing all the seasoning at once.

Extra Dessert Delights Gum

I'm not really a Gum Chewer, but this gum is delicious!
They have great flavors too, like Mint chocolate chip, key lime pie, and strawberry shortcake. I always like something sweet after dinner and this gum does the trick.

Do it Differently

I promise...I promise....Just do it differently...even reversing the order of the exercise has impact. Add something totally different like hula hoop or jumping jacks to your routine.
