BOGO sponge!

When purchasing a new sponge, I cut it in half before using it. When it wears out, I have the new fresh unused other half to use before I have to purchase a new one!

Frugal exercise equipment

Use any step as a step machine! Step up....step down........Find other things around the house that can be used a s "fitness" equipment. Fill old juice containers that have handles (Tropicana) and use them as weights/kettle bells........Get creative~

Getting grease stains out

Put baby powder on the grease spot and it will absorb the grease. Your spot should disappear after you wash the item.

Weeding, bending, burning!

To keep up with the weeds, pick a cool part of the day and devote 15-20 minutes a day to bending, burning and weeding. Not only will your body benefit from this activity, but your garden will flourish too!

Pump up your heart while you pump up your tank!

While pumping gas into your car, use the platform as a step and do step up, step down exercises until the tank is full. Just a way to squeeze in a burst of exercise! You can make this as vigorous as you want to! Pump up your heart while you pump up your tank!

Microwave and exercise

Sometimes when I put something into the microwave I use the time before it is done to do a short burst of exercise. Jumping jacks, steping up and down on the stairs, kitchen counter push-ups.....whatever. When the bell rings the food is done and I have fit a little more exercise into my day!

Purchase holiday items for next year during "day after holiday" markdown sales. If you have a place to store items and they are non-perishable it can amount to great savings! Also, during holidays markets often have bargains on sale to lure you into the market to do your holiday shopping. Stock up!
