Use smaller plates and bowls

We have been using smaller dishes for meals and smaller bowls for things like cereal. One helping of the main course; plenty of extra vegetables for seconds.

Keep several sets of measuring cups and spoons

If one set isn't clean, use another. There is no excuse about measuring this way.

When planting in a large pot throw several empty, used cell packs in the bottom before adding soil. emoticon

Reusable Shopping Bags

As soon as I unpack my groceries from my reusable grocery bags, I put the empty bags near the door that is on my way outside. This way I can grab them on the next trip out to the car and have them ready for my next shopping trip. emoticon
