I have a desk job and I find that to snap me out of boredom, sometimes I will just do jumping jacks! It gets my heart pumping and my body moving. And if the hallways are empty, will lunge down them.
If I start falling off and losing motivation, I gradually get myself into the game by going to the gym at least once a week and then going up one more day as the week progresses to I make it to 5 days.
My boyfriend and I shop for items we use a lot in bulk. For example, I eat a lot of salmon, chicken, and turkey. When I buy in bulk, freeze it, it saves time and money as I don't have to go to the grocery store every week for these items. We can go for 3-4 weeks without a visit to the store.
I find that having a workout soundtrack of upbeat music works great when I'm in the gym or taking a walk. My gym's music is awful and saps my energy but with my soundtrack, I feel energized and can get through the workout easier!
When it comes to the late night, I am ALWAYS ravenous. So I have found its better to eat 1-2 servings of egg whites with green onion and spinach with red pepper. Takes the bite out of the hunger and its low in calories.
The right seasons are extremely important for making a dish taste delicious! Skimp on the salt and add spices and you've got a wonderful mouth-watering delight.
