Take home a doggie bag!

I make it a practice when I go out to eat, I always ask for water, I drink water while I am looking at the menu then when my food come I only eat half. After drinking water before I am already full. I take my doggie bag home for the next day.

Stop making excuses

I have had every excuse under the sun for not exercising or not eating right. None of them matter. What matters is being healthy, even when there is "no time" or "my asthma is bad" or "I like eating out" It's time to just do it because you have to start somewhere!

What Maintenance Means

Maintenance does not mean perfection each and every day of our lives. It means staying in the ballpark! We stay in the game and we manage our foods and activity so that our weight stays within a couple of pounds of our goal weight. Maintenance is about living life how we enjoy it and fitting our eating into our lifestyle. Changes yes, but not a life of total restriction. Maintenance, Life is grand!
