Never Give Up! If you fall down 7 times, get back up 8. Never be defeated by your own self-doubts or the doubts others have about your goals. Stay focused on the endgame and play each day as the battle it is in winning the war. You may not win all the battles, but you need to keep fighting. And goal will be reached!!
A great tip I learned from a nutritionist is to 'volumize' with leafy greens (spinach is my favorite). When greens are added to a meal - either as the main course or as a starter they help to satisfy you better and allow your hunger to subside more quickly and if volumizing with, for instance, spinach, the nutrition benefits are high! Enjoy!!
Since I work fulltime and the weekdays are uber busy I make sure to get to the grocery and farmer's market on Sunday to be sure the family will have all the fruits and veggies we'll need for the week (including the fruit I'll need to take with me to work). Just love my apple a day!
Visualize yourself at your goal weight. Imagine what it will feel like to be light and lean. See yourself wearing clothes that are truly flattering to your new figure. Form an imagine of yourself expressing the joy of having attained your goal...and then stick with the habits that will get you there!

For the last few years I've been progressively gaining weight. As the scale moved upward, I cut back on my eating habits. Before joining SP I had cut back to eating only one meal a day - lunch - with no other snacks or bad habits -- and I was still gaining! Now that I'm active in this plan the pounds are coming off and I'm feeling so much better. Part of the secret -- coming out of starvation mode!
