When you go into sandwich shop order a veggie with only one slice of cheese double all the veggies and skip the mayo. This gives up to 2 servings of your veggies, reduces the fat, sodium and calories(unless you add avocado but that's good fat and calories). Get it all piled on a small roll and not only will you be full but you have cut out in some cases several hundred calories and loads of salt and fat. I have also found it saves you a few bucks because in most shops a veg is cheaper.

When you first start working out go slow and really listen to your body. Take at least two weeks before increasing your level of activity. This will allow your body to adjust slowly to your new routine and reduce soreness. This will help keep you motivated and set the right atmosphere for making exercise a habit. Remember it take about 6 weeks for a new routine to start becoming a habit.
