Carbs and fat are an integral part of weight loss and healthy eating. Especially if you are exercising consistently, you need carbs for fuel. Having complex carbs that are low in glycemic index should be a significant part of your diet.
Whenever people park their car regardless where they are going, we often have to find the closest parking spot. Get the extra bit of exercise in especially if you have a hectic schedule and park far away from the door. This may give you a minute or so of extra walking which is not much but it is a good start!
If you are exercising, you need to make sure you are getting enough carbs to fuel your workout. Even if you are not an athlete, or are not training for something, you need to make sure that you eat the right amount of carbs to get the proper energy so you can push yourself as hard as possible. Bad carbs are bad. Good carbs are great. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables and beans are examples of good carbs that can really help you in your weight loss efforts.
