You can eat whatever you'd like, just be sure to watch the portion size and to only eat it once in awhile. It is not good to make a daily habit of treats. A good example, birthday cake, cut your piece in half or quarters and either shar or freeze for another month or two weeks.
No matter where you are on your journey, remember to love yourself. How can you expect others to love you, if you can't love yourself? Since you are a Spark member you already have a lot of love from other members. You are so worth it. We are all so very proud of you for trying and doing your best. remember your higher being doesn't make mistakes!
It is sometimes difficult for me to keep from getting too much dressing on my salads. My hubby came up with transferring the liquid dressings into a spritz bottle. I love Ken's raspberry and walnut vinaigrette and now all I need is a spritz or sometimes two and save tons of calories in fat.
All of us are not equal, therefore not everything is going to work for everyone. I love this secret section to try new tips to see if they will work for me. I equate healthy eating to when I became smoke free. I decided to be more positive about it - I was going to become smoke free rather than the negative I'm going to quit. Rather than feeling denied any food , I am putting off eating all the junk food until tomorrow. That way it is so much easier to stay positive.
