When I don't feel like exercising, I take my 5 year old son for a walk with me. I set a goal pace for myself (usually 17 min/mile) and then I try to stick to it. I keep myself and my son both motivated by continually telling him "You can do this, buddy." and "You're doing great! Keep it up! We're almost done!" More often than not, I exceed my pace and workout length goals, and both of us get in some much needed outdoors time.
I log in in the morning while I eat breakfast and use the Nutrition segment to plan my meals for the rest of the day. It allows me to pack healthy meal and snack options to take with me all day, and I know from the beginning of the day exactly how much wiggle room I may have with my calorie intake.
Working nights and getting home late, I sometimes find it hard to sleep. I've taken to putting my yoga mat out next to my bed before I go to work. When I get home, instead of sitting on the couch watching TV until I'm tired enough to sleep, I get in a quick yoga session. Stretches me out, relaxes me after a long night, and gets me ready to sleep.
