Don't Kill Yourself

I know we all want to exercise all the time, everyday, but don't. I was struggling with this this week. I was doing exercises and running everyday and pushing myself, even when I felt like I would pass out or my muscles would collapse.

My fiancÚ finally said take a break..."but it will hinder my process and I won't lose weight!" Well I ended up falling asleep at 7:00p and I am starting to feel sick, like a cold.

My advice, don't push it! In the end you and your body will suffer. emoticon

Fit n Exercise Anywhere...Seri
ously

When you go to the grocery store, mall, or anywhere for that matter, park at the farthest spot possible and walk to the door.

At work, I am on the 4th floor and I talk the stairs and not the elevator. I do take the easy way out I try to fit exercise in everywhere!

Screw Stress

I HATE stress...I hate what it does to my body and how it controls what I eat and when.

I have been starving all day because I am stressed! I cannot get enough of anything I eat...at all today!

So I am throwing gum in my mouth and saying screw stress!

You can still eat what you want or like

For those of you who say I can't eat this or I can't eat that, you can! However you have to keep it in moderation.

For example someone brought donuts into my office this morning. I split one with a friend, took two bites and threw it away. Instead of eating a whole snickers eat a mini bite size snickers instead.

SMALLER PORTIONS IS KEY!

Motivation Tip #1

I come home from work and I don't want to work out. So I stop, take a deep breath, and close my eyes...Suddenly I am on a beach and I can see myself. I picture myself looking rock'n in an awesome 2 piece with a nice tan and my fiancÚ.

Then reality sets in that in no way shape or form do i look like that YET! So I get on my treadmill and rock it! I WILL LOOK AWESOME! emoticon

Instead of Candy...

Sorry folks but I am a candy-a-holic. Instead of cookies and cake I rather eat a whole package of Sour Patch kids. However, to slim down I put a stop to this. Instead I eat watermelon, peaches, strawberries, bananas, etc.

I try to stay with the sweeter fruits to get my candy fix. So far it has been working great. You can have the flavors you want without the extra calories! emoticon

Kick the Soda!

I used to think I could never go without a soda. Just thinking about not ever drinking a soda again would make me crave it even more. It was actually a lot easier than I thought, to kick. I mainly drink water and one cup of coffee a day.
If I want a soda, I split one with my fiancÚ, so I still get the taste, but I get half the calories.

Since I quit drinking soda I lost 4 labs in a week and a half! Imagine the possibilities! emoticon

It is so Easy to Be Mean...

...but harder to be nice to yourself. Don't look in the mirror and disect your whole body becasue good things don't happen over night...they come to those who wait. So keep working hard and in the long run it will pay off!

Even If I Don't Feel Like Working Out...

If I have a day where I get home and I am just beat from the day, I still exercise.

I will watch my favorite TV show and during commercials I will get up and start stretching my body out. Then when the show comes back on I rest and when the next commercial comes on I will do lunges, then rest. Next commercial I will do a few pushups and stretch again.

Something it better than nothing at all!

Keeping it Off

I recently lost a lot of weight just by an emotional issue I was dealing with I have not weighed 130 in years so I am going to stick to it! I posted up pictures of celebrities in their best from SHAPE and I bought a few fitness magazines. I am reaching to try a new workout every week!
