If you've already lost some weight but hit a plateau, you might have to work a little harder. The heavier you are, the more calories you burn in a workout. That means once you're lighter, you can do the same workout and burn fewer calories. To break a plateau, go a little longer, add something, or switch to a more vigorous exercise. You can do it!
How many times when you're eating out, have you decided not to eat any more but ended up doing it anyways? If there's not enough food left to take home, DESTROY IT! Maybe mix two things that you wouldn't eat together or, if it's paper, put your napkin on the food. Put too much pepper on it (at a pizza place use pepper flakes!) These examples are very subtle and shouldn't really be noticed by fellow diners. I find it much easier to resist eating when the food no longer appeals to me.
If you're like me, you have a lot of nature trails near your house. If you're not sure, check with your local conservation center. Don't let the fact that you don't know the route be an excuse not to go. You can always turn around and go back instead of making a loop! Go with a friend the first few times. It's easy go a little farther each time because you're excited to discover more :) Bring a camera along in case you see wildlife or if you're in the right location, hunt for fossils :D
