Fruit can satisfy your sweet tooth!

While my self control seems to go out of the window and I feel I can't resist eating some candy, I have some fruit instead. It's hearty, satisfying, low in calories and fat, rich in fiber and usually my candy cravings go away after consuming fruit.

Invest in a heart rate monitor

Buying a heart rate monitor was one of the best things I did to motivate myself to exercise. There is nothing more rewarding than reading the number of calories burned after each workout! As you get more experienced with it, it can also help you choose the correct intensity for your workout.
