Install a second shower curtain rod over the center of your tub. It won't get in your way while you shower, and it gives you an ideal place to hang dry your clothes while keeping them out of sight and out of the way!
If you can give up fast food for a month or more, the next time you eat it, it won't taste nearly as good as you remember. It will taste fatty, greasy and salty, making it much easier to give it up forever!
The bread at Subway has way more calories than any other sandwich component. 9-grain whole wheat has the fewest calories. Order a 12" sub, remove half the bread, and you have yourself an extra thick 6" sandwich! Turkey or ham, with tons of veggies and vinegar for dressing, and no cheese gives you a very filling 500 calorie meal.
I see so many people chewing with their mouth open, smacking their lips, talking with food in their mouth. As we become less formal about where we eat (at our desks, on the subway), manners become even more important. More people are able to watch us eat, and they definitely notice our bad habits.
Use cold water to wash ALL your laundry. There are several kinds of cold water laundry detergent available to make sure your clothes get clean. This reduces fading and prevents shrinking, reduces your water heating bill and keeps your clothes looking great!
They are cooler in summer, and aren't restrictive. They are more flattering on any figure, and make you look like you put more effort into your appearance. The ones with elastic waistbands adjust to fit your shrinking body, saving you money on clothes.
Maintain your weight instead of trying to lose. Eat brunch, a snack and dinner (instead of 3 meals + snacks). For brunch, have oatmeal or eggs. For a snack, have a yogurt and granola bar. For dinner, stick to chicken or fish and salads. Even if you can't exercise, at least you won't gain!
Remove clothes from dryer as soon as they are dry, then immediately lay out anything that wrinkles into a flat stack. Everything else can stay in the laundry basket. That way even if you can't get to hanging and folding right away, your clothes will still be wrinkle-free.
