I think that in order for one to be success in losing weight and keeping it off, one must have the attitude that this is a lifestyle change. This is the way I must eat, exercise and live in order to maintain my weight-loss.

The most important thing you can do for another weight-loser is to give them a "that-a-girl". It is the best motivator one can give and by you giving them that goodie, it gives you a wonderful feeling of compassion and support.

I find that I still have to write down everything I eat. I need to know how many calories I have eaten so I know to stop when I have reached my capacity or a bit over. If I didn't count I would continue to eat and thus gain my lost weight.

When you go to the grocery store, make a note of the price of one item of junk food that you would normally buy and eat and put that amount in a piggy bank. You will be surprised how much you would have spent on junk food.
