Eating slowly can also help when you are trying to lose weight because it can make you fuller faster. When people eat to fast they consume too much and therefore expand their stomachs. Eating slowly can also look more appealing to the eye than gorging down your food at a table.
When you find that you've went off track with your routine, don't beat yourself up about it. We've all had some days or special events where we indulge. Just be sure that the following day you get back on track.
People are always rushing to get the closest parking spot to the building. WHY? Some times you know you have no where else to be. Just park further away, especially if you have groceries to take to the car. You'd be surprised with how much calories you'll burn and steps you've taken.
I get a lot more motivation by trying to get back into a pair of jeans I use to wear. Instead of stepping on a scale, I would step into my jeans. :) It was a lot more motivating for me to get back into those jeans than to step on a scale and looking at it as loosing weight. Try it!
