Hidden Exercise

While listening to Spark Radio I sit in my chair and act like I'm walking. It is good chair exercise. Each SP Radio slot is approximately 5 - 10 min or more and it's a great way to get cardio in. Believe me after that 5 - 10 min you will feel the burn in your legs even while sitting down. Another great way to add even more cardio to the mix is move those arms. Up, down, all around. WooHoo!!!!!

Reminder Clothes

When I get discouraged I put on my reminder clothes. They are a size 3x. I've lost 40 lbs since starting and they are very loose. I do this if I'm feeling sorry for myself or if I've hit a plateau. It gets me motivated again.

Scheduled Challenges

I use the planner to help remind me of the challenges I have signed up. Each morning I get the reminder. When you are signed up for multiples this is a big help to keep them organized so you can visit each one.

Less Salad Dressing

I've noticed if I use a cucumber in my salad I only add 1 tsp of dressing verses the 2 standard. The cucumber makes it's own water which allows the dressing to go farther. Try it you just might like it. emoticon

Drinking 8 glasses of water daily

If you have trouble keeping track of those glasses of emoticon place 8 pennies on a ledge. Take away a penny each time you drink a glass of emoticon . At the end of the day you shouldn't have any pennies left. If you do, you fell short. Donna

Add a pop of taste to green beans

Add 1 teaspoon of bacon bits to green beans while cooking instead of adding any butter or other ingredient. It gives a great pop of taste and only adds 25 calories per spoon full.

Adding up spark points

I started this month adding up my spark points. For each point I have I am putting back 5 cents. It's a great way to put money back for new clothes.. WooHoo.
