Be POSITIVE that you'll reach your goal...because you *can* be! The secret is to never give up, because as long as you don't throw in the towel, victory's 100% certain. When you waver or falter, instantly think of how you'll feel when you get there! You'll always have what it takes to successfully land at the finish line
...is to send yourself notes of daily encouragement about challenges in your day-to-day life. Whether it's planning for nutritional intake at a luncheon or addressing a worry, it's so soothing to open an encouraging "you can do this!" message from yourself! The Schedule an Appointment feature's ideal for this!
If you restrict it to one meal and get right back on track, if you only binge once a month, you will still lose weight! You never feel deprived because you *always* have a "feast meal" every single month...BUT you must not deviate from this strategy! For me, so far, so good...34 lbs. down 'n' counting!
If you, like me, are in the habit of eating a bad day, so to speak, I've got encouraging news: There are many other approaches to coping with a lousy day. Explore them, and embrace what works for you, be it talking to a dear friend, writing a Spark blog entry, having a good cry, or just being especially kind to yourself. None of those have a single calorie in them - good news!
When you feel afraid and/or down, refuse to stay there. Instead, get good and mad at the situation(s) that have you cornered! See if you don't feel empowered when you do this. It'll give you strength to fight things with all your might; just try it!
