I normally try to do something perfect instead of trying to do everything perfect. With my lifestyle change and goals, i've started to track my food everyday, which i've been doing so well. I know i've not been good at tracking my measurements which i plan to start doing in January consistently. I'm consistent on my water, fruit, vegetables now and packing lunch for work. They all didn't come one day.
Don't get worried about the parties and overeating. Here's a trick, when you get there first thing, you prepare to have fun. Next start getting water to fill you up. Select exactly only what you want. If people ask why you are not eating, tell them the truth, you don't want it now, select only what is healthy and what you would like to eat.
A quick way to ensure you are having your veggies is to buy easy ones and take with you as a snack like cucumber, instead of slicing it, take a nice big bite and enjoy it like a fruit, same for tomato. You can also buy the lettuce and store in your work fridge, and you can wash a leaf or two and have a crunch. Who says vegetables were hard.
I've rearranged my living room and now exercising at home. Since i've started, i'm no longer missing my exercise routines. Its very convenient and i do it in my own time. I take it serious and schedule workouts and comply to my schedule. It works. No need to wonder if u can make it today or procrastinate. Do it right at home now.
