I'll be honest, I don't enjoy exercising. Sneak in 50 squats, 50 "pilates 100" type sit-ups, etc., while watching your favorite show or getting ready in the morning, whenever you can. I have to trick myself into getting extra exercise in. Hopefully I won't figure it out. :)
change regret to resolve, let go and go on. Even if it is an hour at a time, or 15 minutes. progress is made in baby steps. Turn your mind to happy thoughts that you looked forward to when you first got a glimpse of going on an adventure to a new you and a better lifestyle change. Try to reconnect to those inklings of sparks of ideas and feelings. Have hope and just begin again. We all have to. After all, no one is perfect, Even a perfect egg must crack for a new life to begin. Be kind and gentle
Did you know yams aren't just for the holiday meals? We have switched to yams. They are so good natural sweet and better for you less in calories then regular potatoes higher in fiber. You can bake them, broil them, boil them put them on the Bar-B-Que. You make sweet potato fries they are so yummy What ever you do with a regular pottage you can do with a yam, and you'll love them more.. Just give them a try You'll like them I know you will.
Sometimes we accidently let our minds run off with unwanted issues we need to deal with...making them more stressful/scary than they may be.The more we focus on the negative (what if's) & assume negative (reactions), the more it affects us negatively. CALM your mind. YOU CAN take charge of it calmly, peacefully, LEAD interactions & affect outcomes through YOUR behavior, words & actions. Stay in positive control of your mind. Aim to enter it in as relaxed state as you can.
For me as long as I stay flexible with my workouts I stay motivated Let's face it we all have lives that have bumps in the road My life is more of murphy's law What can go wrong will go wrong - For me when my life takes a turn off my main course its just a minor detour. This is the time to go with the flow and make do with what time I have . Life happens don't worry over the bumps in the road.
Instead of that debate, just get up and do it - anything, something - but do it now!
Romaine lettuce leaves are a Great replacement for high fat/high calorie taco shells. They're crunchy, low calorie, and always on hand in my house. Just fill with fresh salsa & your favorite meat: carne asada, chicken fajita, or ground turkey w/ taco seasonings...
