save for rewards

Don't spend your change. I save my .01, .05, .10, and .25. I put it in a jar and when the jar is full I roll it and put it in the bank for a vacation fund. I save loonies and twoonies in a separate jar and use them for my $5.00 rewards. I buy something for $5.00 for every week I did all of my fast break goals. I buy a magazine, ear rings, flowers or anything to brighten my week and to congratulate myself for a job well done.

Reward Yourself

I have found a simple, inexpensive reward for a bad day. If your having a bad day, you just feel beat, drained , stiff and sore. I go for a hot shower, as hot as I can stand, I then go and apply lotion on my feet, legs, arms. I make sure to rub hard and it feels like my own mini massage. It relaxes me, helps with aches and pains and energizes me to continue on my day. You don't have to spend alot even dollar store lotions will do.

Cutting portions and helping your bottom line.

To cut portion sizes, calories and my grocery budget I buy lean hamburger in club packs and divide it at home. I now divide it into 3/4 pound packs instead of 1 pound packs. This does not affect the taste of recipes. It cuts calories and it makes my grocery budget go further.
