I save all my vegetable peels, cores and ends in a gallon size bag in the freezer. When it's full, I dump it all in my crockpot with some water and put it on low for 8 hours. I would have just thrown out all those scraps, but now I have my own healthy vegetable stock!
When you get together with friends to work out, you're more likely to stick to that commitment since you don't want to let your friends down. Bonus: exercise feels less like work since it's now a social activity AND you have someone to push you even harder!
When I write down a recipe, I use T for tablespoon and t for teaspoon because a tablespoon is bigger than a teaspoon.
Store-bought and restaurant dressings have so many calories! The regular dressings have lots of fat; the light dressings have lots of sugar. Make your own and cut way back on the calories!
