Don't be shy about using this strategy the next time you want to enjoy some restaurant pizza. Take a few napkins and blot the top of your pizza. You will be amazed at how much grease and oil comes up...think of it as junk that you avoided putting in your body! While pizza is not the best choice for every day eating, this tip can at least help you enjoy it in moderation every now and then.
When I first started working out, I quickly realized that my running shoes were not going to cut it for activities like aerobics and Zumba. With my wide feet, I had trouble finding a good pair of cross trainers UNTIL I found Rykas. Currently wearing Assist XTs and they are fantastic!! Excellent support, plenty of room in the front, and so very comfortable.
If you have a chance to try a class, DO IT! It is so much fun...even if you are overweight...even if you have 2 left feet...even if you hate working out with other people. Everyone is too worried about what they are doing to notice you, and it is a fabulous workout!!!
Ladies, do yourself a favor when you are exercising and invest in a few good sports bras. My personal favorite are the high impact Danskin Now brand sold at Walmart. They are fit to your bra size (not just S,M,L,XL, etc) and they offer fantastic support!
Staying home with your children is wonderful, but it is so tempting to eat the things they have left on their meal plates. YOU ARE NOT A GARBAGE DISPOSAL! Avoid the extra calories and dispose of their plates as soon as they are done!
Scrub a nice big lemon up the night before, and cut it into 8 wedges. Put it in a storage bag in the refrigerator for the next day. Use one wedge for each 8oz of water you drink; you'll have extra flavor and a visual reminder of how well you are doing with your daily water intake!
