The point of power always lies within the present moment. Don't worry about what happened yesterday or 10 minutes ago. Don't worry about what will happen tomorrow or a week from now. Right now is all you can control. Everything else is just chatter in your head. Do something great with right now and do it RIGHT NOW.
If you have a "gram/oz" scale here is a time saving tip for you. Today I had an English Muffin with cream cheese & jam. To measure cream cheese, I place the entire pack of it on my scale before using & reset the scale to zero, then I re-measure it after I use the amount I want. The scale read "minus 18" grams, thus showing me that I used 18 grams on my muffin! You can do this with jam, sour cream, cottage cheese...or any food that is messy when trying to calculate your calories!!
It's so great to see what a pale fat unhappy lady I was a whileback and now my skin glows, I'm tanned, there are less bumps and lumps. It feels great and helps me stay positive about keeping away from gorging on chocolate etc
I put a shelf up in front of my treadmill so that I can workout and watch TV or shows online. My strategy is I can only watch Greys Anatomy if I'm on the treamill, most of the show are 43mins commercial free on abc.com
My baby was diagnosed with eczema recently and after searching the web I found a natural way to control it. Oatmeal. I give her oatmeal baths. I simply add it to her bathwater and even rinse her with the milky water. It has done wonders! I started on Sat and to day is Tues. What a HUGE difference it has made. I highly recomment!
I find that just creating a group of friends on spark-- who you can root for and who you know have your back-- is the BEST part of my success. Because sometimes you need to be accountable to more than just yourself, and sometimes you want to inspire that friend who *really* needs it.
