If you don't make time for exercise, you must make time for illness.

A friend's cousin said this the other day, and it's become a huge motivation ever since.

Keeping your silver jewelery silver

When you are not wearing your sterling silver, keep it in a ziplock back with some rice. Humidity is what tarnishes silver so keeping it air-tight with something to absorb the moisture will keep it sparkling for a long time! Also, most jewelery counters will sell a polishing cloth. (under 10$) this is a great investment. The trick is to NEVER wash them! they will last for years and help keep your gold and silver sparkling like the day you bought them!

Remove Crayons from Walls

Have kids? Well you may or may not have experienced a pretty picture on your walls drawn in crayons. Remove easily with toothepaste and a sponge.

Mopping feet

Instead of using a regular mop... I take two cleaning rags and put one under each foot and clean the floors that way. You are working your legs and butt and burning calories.

Give that "little voice" the boot!

Today, while running, a little voice in my head told me that I couldn't go any further, so instead I picked up the pace and ran faster & harder than ever. Take that, little voice.

Have you got what it takes to give your "little voice" the boot?

Start the day a healthy way!

Eat fresh fruits first. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Before any other food is prepared, eat your fruit! Then follow with yogurt and whole grains in cereal, toast, pancakes, waffles,or healthy granolas. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon You can add even more fresh fruits to these breakfast foods too! Berries, apples, and citruses should be eaten everyday. Don't forget fruit smoothies! I think fruit is the gift of the "Gods"!

Reynolds Handi-Vac

This tool is great for keeping leftovers, and the bags help prevent freezer burn too. It definitely helps to eliminate wasted food. Use it to divide up your meats, fruits, veggies. Store them in the freezer or fridge for later use.
Also great to extend the life of your ground coffee. Place your food in the bag, seal, place the vac on the designated spot, press and voila - it removes excess air in the bag.

You've got to earn it!

If we could buy health, most of us would have it. Good health can't be bought...it must be earned!

not going to punish myself

i know i'm going to screw up sometimes....but i'm not going to let that be a reason to keep on a negative track. I'm only human....and as long as i keep trying, i'm happy with myself.
