Do the Right Thing

It's really important to do the right thing. You will feel better and you know the results will be better too.
Don't let temptation defeat you.

Food Planning for the Week

I am currently spending one day on the weekend planning the full week ahead for meals. I record this on my Spark Daily Nutrition so that each day it has already been done for me. When I open up my Spark for the day, not only is my menu there so it takes out the guess work but my points are recorded. It's one less thing to do on an already tight time budget.

Breath

Learn to breath. When you wake up in the morning, take a big cleansing breath. When you leave the house, stop and take a deep breath. Before you enter work or begin your next chore, stop and take a big cleansing breath.
Our body needs oxygen and we don't take the time to nourish it. Just Breath!

Lemon Water

If you don't like drinking water, try adding a squeeze of lemon. I find it helps me to drink more whether I am drinking hot water (in the morning and before bed) or cold. And lemon does help with the digestive cleanse.

Time Management

We live in a three level split house. When I have something that needs to go upstairs or downstairs, I leave the item beside the stairway so that on the next trip I can take it with me. This saves me running up and down the stairs needlessly when I am busy. It also gets the kids helping because they can take the item up or down without me asking.

Exercise, Save Money and Do Something Good for the Environment

I bike to work each day. This is economical because I don't pay for gas, parking or bus tickets. I am doing something good for the environment and I am getting an hour of exercise each day. emoticon

Bike and Save

I take my bike to work whenever I can and when I do I put away the equivalent of my bus fare money.
Where I live, it adds up to $5 a day.
At the end of the season I spend the money on something I really wanted. emoticon

Recycle Paper

After you take the paper off a can, use the back side for your grocery list or scrap paper.
