It's emotional torture to me to look at a closet full of clothes I can't wear. I take the things that are too small (or too big!) and try to sell them at a consignment shop. Whatever they won't take goes to Goodwill. These two places are where I buy my current sizes as well. I only allow myself to keep a few exceptions, but they must pass these rules: 1) I really love them and 2) I don't think I'll be able find them again once I reach goal weight. Why keep a too small plain blue T-shirt?
I was having a terrible chocolate craving last night that made me want to eat a whole cake or tray of cookies. I ate 1/2 c of dry Choco Dyno-Bites (generic of Cocoa Pebbles) and it handled the craving. It was 80 calories, 0.7 g of fat, 17.3 g carbs, and 0.7 g protein. I ate them by picking up a few at a time, and because they're so little, it took a while to eat them, so I ended up feeling like I'd had a lot of something.
I like to look up information about food at Self's Nutrition Data site. In addition to the standard nutrition information for food, it shows a nutritional target map (which shows fullness and nutritiousness factor), caloric ratio pyramid, nutrient balance, and protein quality. It's a neat website I like to use to supplement the Spark experience!
I love these, not just because they're already portioned out into servings, but also because they keep the guacamole fresh and green until I'm ready to eat it! I don't usually like buying things that are pre-packaged into smaller portions, but I think it just makes sense with guacamole, since it means I waste so much less!
