Eat meat?

If you eat a lot meat, there is a good way to save money on it. Buy an entire pig or cow. It does cost an extreme amount of money to buy, but it lasts about a year and in the end you actually save a large amount of money because you don't need to buy meat for that entire year.

Right after dinner, I brush my teeth, even before I do the dishes. It helps me resist the temptation to snack for the rest of the night. (Probably good for my teeth also.)

Sometimes we keep fruits and veggies past their prime. Instead of tossing them, remove any rotted pieces, bag the rest, and freeze them. When you want to add veggies or fruits to cooked dishes, e.g., soup, pasta sauce, add these instead of purchased frozen foods. I keep fruits for use in jello.
