If you eat a lot meat, there is a good way to save money on it. Buy an entire pig or cow. It does cost an extreme amount of money to buy, but it lasts about a year and in the end you actually save a large amount of money because you don't need to buy meat for that entire year.
When I find that I need new clothes I always think about the cost. Ugh...What I like is SO expensive so a few things I do is go to places like Marshal's or TJ Maxx where I can get named brand items very cheap. If that doesn't work I go online and see what items at my favorite store is on clearance sale. That ends up saving me quite a bit of money.
Get a dollar store white-board w/magnet & marker to stick to outside of freezer. Keep a list on what you have. How often have you over-bought or thrown out food bc you don't use or know what's in there? This has saved me time and money. Also, mark down when you froze it or for pre-packaged goods, their expiration date, esp. if stuff tends to hang around in your freezer. Works for the frig, too!

Sometimes we keep fruits and veggies past their prime. Instead of tossing them, remove any rotted pieces, bag the rest, and freeze them. When you want to add veggies or fruits to cooked dishes, e.g., soup, pasta sauce, add these instead of purchased frozen foods. I keep fruits for use in jello.
