Do Bathroom PushUps

Everytime I go to the bathroom at work, I do some pushups. Not on the floor, of course, but on the counter. I stand about three feet away, position my hands on the counter, and do 10 'pushups.'

OMG! Chocolate Cheerios are sooo good! I first read reviews about them written on the Hungry Girl site....she raved about them and she was right! They are a perfect way to get that chocolate craving taken care of without guilt...and they don't affect my blood sugar badly!

Your Body Wants Nutrients, Not Calories

Dr. Oz said this on one of his shows. He explained that the body will crave food, even if it is not officially "hungry." If you eat healthy, nutrient-rich foods, you will satisfy your body, and it will not crave high calorie, empty foods. It really hit a cord with me.

Walking...free and great cardio

Walking helps me get my exercise in and helps me feel better. I am trying to add more steps everytime I go shopping. I try ro park farther out and will take my cart back to the cart corral an aisle or so over. I put my shoes on immediately after dinner and go. I try to walk 30-45 minutes.

Just do it.

When the alarm goes off, just get up and do it. No matter how difficult it is, if I just get up and put on my shoes, go out side and tell myself it's okay to just do a short walk rather than my planned run, I always end up completing the run once i have my shoes on and go outside.
