George Foreman Grill
The best money I ever spent! I love this Grill, it is quick easy and doesn't dry out the meat! I use it for panini's, steak, chicken, pork chops, seafood, anything!!
On the days I need to get up to workout in the mornings, I put my cell phone (alarm clock) on the tv stand. So in order for me to turn it off, I have to get my butt out of bed. Getting out of bed is half the battle with me.
I had some extra eggplant in the frig and decided to chop it up finely and mix it into the burger when making my goulash. I added great flavor and my kids didn't even notice the difference!
Using ground turkey
I use ground turkey instead of ground beef in everything. Meatload, toca's, goolosh, it's all good and no one ever knows the difference!
E-Bay can save you a ton of money on workout equipement, well anything!
Get your kids involved!
Getting my kids involved has been the best thing I've done in my journey to get fit and healthy. They are so encouraging and so willing to help! When I started running, I would bring them down to the track with me, and when they weren't tryng to run with me, I could hear them cheering me on!
Leaving something on the plate
I like to leave on my plate a little of everything I put on my it. I tend to take to much and it can really add up at the end of the week. It gotten me better at not over eating when I'm out to eat too!
I have a picture of myself on the frig from 10 years ago when I was 135lbs and at my all time low weight. I was confident and happy with my body. When I need a little motivation and take a look at that picture!
While on vacation or work trips I find the spark workout to be great. I take my laptop along and pull up a work out! Even the kids get into it when on vacation!
I know this is going to sound crazy, but here goes...I often struggle with getting my water intake in. It's not that I don't like water, in fact it is all I drink, beside my morning coffee! So I have set up my spark page calendar reminder to go off every hr to remind me to drink a glass of water
