IGNORE the fitspo. It's not empowering, it's manupulating!
A lot of us have seen the "fitspiration" images of petite, tan, intensely muscled young women with captions like "Yesterday you said tomorrow." This is just "thinspo" in disguise: the same crap that encouraged anorexia a few years ago.

Power-Packed Superfood Breakfast with 4 Servings of Freggies! I swear by Green Smoothies to fuel my mornings. A big handful of spinach, 1/2 a frozen banana, 1/3 cup each frozen blueberries and blackberries, and a scoop of protein power blended with almond milk makes a CRAZY good smoothie with about 4 servings of fruits and veggies. I drink one every day, and it's enough to fuel half marathon training AND my hectic mornings teaching middle school. Once you start drinking these for breakfast, you'll never want anything else!

Visit your library for free food ideas! Cooking magazines are a great resource, but nobody wants to try every recipe in an issue or keep a bunch of issues cluttering their space. So head to the magazine section of the library with your notebook and write down your favorites to try throughout the month. Great, cheap way to get inspired!
Do Something That Pushes Your Limits When you've been out of the fitness loop for a while, try a new fitness activity that's really tough. Hike a mountain peak, ride a bike to a record distance, go kayaking for the first time, or try a ropes course. Your success will empower and inspire you to get back to your fitness goals again!
