I'm new to SP, but didn't see this posted on first 5+ pages: WATER EXERCISE: Easier on joints; less embarrassing (body is underwater); who can tell if you are sweating or splashing?; not coordinated - not a problem; easy to modify difficulty of any exercise to your level. Most classes have music to help pace movement. I cannot walk for long distances, but this i CAN DO! Community ed is a great way to try out a class (aerobic OR flexibility/toning).
