After removing the pot from the stove let it cool for a couple of minutes to let the fat settle on top. Wrap a few ice cubes in a cloth and draw it across the stew/soup the fat will congeal on to the cloth and can be easily removed.
I doesn't matter what you learn, just keep learning! You can even focus on one area, such as healthy eating, or exercising. If you learn something new everyday about those things you'll be amazed at how fast you'll start changing your lifestyle around!
I have two 32oz water bottles. I take one with me to the gym every morning. Once I exercise I make sure it is empty getting my first 4 glasses in for the day. I have the same bottle at work so I either drink 1during the day or make sure to drink the 2nd before 11:59pm, when I get home.
If you weigh yourself everyday, your feelings about yourself will be determined by that number. Instead, eat healthy, exercise, and weigh yourself weekly and you'll be much happier and less likely to 'fall off the bandwagon'.
