My dogs love a bite of people food with their dinner. So each night I save a bite or two of my portion to share with them. Although its small, it still saves me a few more calories here and there. Every little bit counts. And my dogs are happy. We all win.
"Just do it". I just realized that I spend more time arguing with myself and putting off things, than I would if I just took a minute and did it. Start laundry, put away dishes, dust the furniture, whatever. Stop procrastinating and just do it. In the end, you will save yourself time and feel more relaxed.
I've found that getting my fiber through food sources (fruits, veggies, whole grains), eating yogurt daily (I do activia light) helps keep things moving more than if I use a fiber supplement . Staying regular is an important part of the weight loss process and general health.
