From personal experience, I know it's true: adequate sleep helps you more easily control your munchies. Make sure you get those 8 hours!
It's a bit of an inconvenience but after grocery shopping, I get out my Ziploc bags and break everything down into accurate portion sizes. It makes it easier later on when I'm in a rush to just grab a baggie & know that I'm less likely to cheat or be inaccurate when accounting for my food intake.
I found that after losing weight & something gets too big - tossing it out to Goodwill & replacing it with a new smaller size keeps me honest with my Nutrition tracker!
She's made a great change in my way of life. Without sacrificing taste, I've gained healthy habits AND lost weight!
