Make your sauce CHUNKY with LOTS of veggies( tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, spinach, squash etc) It should be like a stew..Don't let it get "runny" . Boil 1oz whole grain pasta per person and when done- use kitchen shears to snip into small pieces. Mix into sauce and divide into servings. The veggies make up for the lower amount of pasta. And because it isn't a mound under the sauce- no one can gage how much( or little) pasta they actually have.!
Sometimes the scale or the mirror don't cooperate with our preconceived expectations of where our hard work with exercise and food intake should have us - for any given time period. ( some call these plateaus) When this happens to me I focus on making sure I am giving my body what it needs..8 hours rest, 8 glasses water daily. regular exercise, and plenty of fruits and veggies. I keep in mind that weightloss is a symptom of healthy living and I am NOT on a diet!
Skim Milk is reccommended by just about everyone and it is just about perfect after a workout to help you recover and to provide portein to your tired muscles. I mix 1 cup milk with 1 pack stevia and 1 teas vanilla! Tastes like Vanilla Ice cream!
To keep your staples free of those nasty little black bugs that love to get into flour, beans, sugar etc- once you open the bag- close it tightly with a rubber band- THEN place it inside a ziplock bag and tightly seal! You can also store similar items like partial bags of beans, different types of rice etc together to make finding them easier.

It allows you to mix your fav songs together- and it also allows you to change the tempo without making them sound like chipmunks! So you can custom mix your best music just like a DJ- and for free. Adobo peppers always come in cans that have roughly a cup of peppers in each- yet recipes rarely call for more than 1 or 2 as they are so hot. Unless you make mexican every night- you're going to be wondering what to do with the ones you didn't use. With this trick you'll never throw away extra peppers- and you ALWAYS have some handy when you need them.
Yeah me too- but this little trick has really helped- I now regularly consume more then 10 glasses a day- and I like it!(something I never thought I would say because I used to HATE water!)
I live in an older building anf out sink it prone to "stains"- the amount of scrubbing to remove them is ridiculous! THis handy trick assures me my sink is as clean as it's gonna get with almost noi effort on my part!
