When I feel the need to grab something to eat that I shouldn't, I take out my Journal and write why I should "not" eat it and why I" want" to eat it. By the time I get done writing I really "don't" want it anymore and feel better about the strength I just had to say "no" to temptation! Then I haven't ate unwanted calories and I can stay focused on other things...
Everytime I work out , I work out with my "skinny" son. He once weighed 200 lbs, and when I look back and see the weight he has lost and know that he did it, I then know I can do it as well. I also know that he cares enough for me to work out with me, and takes his time knowing I am a lot older, and slower, and it makes me want to be around for along time with him. He is my motivation to get thinner and healthier. I know someday I will have grandchildren and I want to be there for them .
