Ok most of us know to brush your teeth as a way to stop eating. You don't want to brush a second time after a snack.
Last night I bought 8 cookies that I knew I shouldn't. I ate all 8 cookies. If I hadn't bought those, it would have been 30 days without eating cake or cookies.
My friend called (on my cell), so rather than sit and talk (and bother my co-worker), I figured I'd get out of the office and walk while we talked. I kept up a good pace and continued after we finished for a nice bit of unexpected exercise.
As we know, the longer it takes to eat something, the more chance we give ourselves to feel full. This morning the lid on my container of large black grapes would not close, so I cut a few of the grapes in 1/2. I decided to eat the halves, instead of popping a whole grape in my mouth, so it took me longer than normal to finish them up.
We had record-breaking temps last week, and so I walked in shade of the parking structure. One "lap" is basically the same as one lap of the track. I wet some paper towels from the restroom and mopped my brow, and placed some on my neck. I was able to complete my walking this way, without heat stroke!
